Memento Mori

Memento Mori is a Latin phrase that when translated, means “Remember that you are mortal”. It is synonymous with the saying: “Carpe Diem” or “Seize the Day.” Throughout history, skulls have been a symbol of mortality and these oft-used sayings remind us that life is fleeting and we must live each day to the fullest.
